December 10, 1998 United Technologies Corp., East Hartford, Conn., was awarded on Dec. 9, 1998, a $10,541,538 fixed-price-requirements contract to provide for 42 kits to upgrade the TF33-P-102B engine to the TF33-P-102C configuration in support of the E-8C Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (Joint STARS) aircraft.
