Garmin has unveiled an emergency Autoland system for general aviation that is designed to control and land an aircraft when a pilot cannot. In an emergency, the pilot or passengers can activate Autoland by pushing a red button. It can also activate automatically if needed.   The system will be available as part of the G3000 integrated flight deck on the Cirrus Vision Jet and the Piper M600. FAA certification is pending.
