Gulfstream Aerospace set a world speed record in a G650ER on a flight from Teterboro, New Jersey, to Dubai, a distance of 6,142 nm, in 11 hr., 2 min.

The flight was completed at an average speed of Mach 0.90. It beat a previous record by 1 hr., 48 min., Gulfstream said.

Pending approval by the National Aeronautic Association, this record will be the G650 family’s 79th.
