Many captions here don't correlate to the particular photo. Anyway, nice looking one-of-a-kind & rare group of 4 legendary NAA products. The late ''Airman's Airman' Bob Hoover had a substantive involvement with each.

Thank you for the feedback - we have corrected!

Except for the last two pictures (B-29 Superfortress), the captions do not belong to the assigned pictures at all. Must be some editing problem. The very last picture show the two B-29 bombers in formation
flight. It seems to me that the bomber "Fifi" has a bubble canopy. Is that
an earlier version, or a later modification for the B-29? Its good to see
some of these birds still flying.

That's better, I should have waited for a little longer, as the correction
came up just as I submitted my comment. My question still stands though about the difference between the "Fifi" and the "Doc" B-29-s,
regarding the pilot's cabin configuration.

Fifi has the gun turrets attached, while Doc does not, which I think is the difference you see.

I believe Fifi I is actually a B-50. A B-50 is a B-29 with upgraded engines typically used after the war for flight test activities.

Fifi is not a B-50, she is a B-29, fitted with later CW engines. B-50's were fitted with PW4360's.
