Striking Livery Concept Floated By Happy Design Studio
Deeply inspired by the new ACJ Two Twenty, Didier Wolff, CEO of Happy Design Studio, imagined a particularly striking livery, highlighting the natural energy and exceptional performance of this aircraft. This livery is created around four diagonal black powerful lines which firmly rest like a frame on the front curve of the ACJ's belly fairing, born from a black shape underlining the cockpit from the front. As for the colors, five shades of green and a light blue guide the eyes towards the drift. The artwork comes quite cheap, considering the cost of the canvas.
CAE Falcon 6X Simulator Will ‘Fly’ In UK
Training provider CAE (Booth P93) has announced that it will deploy the first Dassault Falcon 6X CAE 7000XR Series full-flight simulator (FFS) at its Burgess Hill, England, site. As the exclusive training provider for the Falcon 6X, CAE has developed an innovative pilot training program. This “represents a significant advancement in technology and training experience,” said Nick Leontidis, Group President, Civil Aviation at CAE. “Pilots will be able to fully focus on their training with expert instructors, interactive classrooms and the world's most advanced flight simulators.” A Falcon 8X FFS will be ready at Burgess Hill this fall.
Avfuel Returns To EBACE With Expanded Network

P&WC Zero-Times Cessna Mustang Jets
P&W Canada has expanded the portfolio of its popular P&WCSMART maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) solutions with the launch of a new offering for its business jet engines. The new solution is a flat-rate “zero time since overhaul” (zero-TSO) engine exchange for PW615F-A engines that power Cessna Mustangs. “This is the first time we have extended our suite of P&WCSMART solutions to customers of our turbofan engines,” said Irene Makris, vice president, Customer Service. “P&WCSMART solutions provide competitive flat rates and capped costs for major engine maintenance, eliminating price variables and uncertainty.” Booth K67.
Leonardo Opens New Paris Helicopter Service Center
The center, which began operating a month ago, is at Paris-Le Bourget Airport, providing support for the AW109, AW169 and AW139, with the AW189 and the Agusta brand VIP helicopters to be added later. More than 90 helicopter service centers in over 40 countries now support Leonardo products. The Paris center operates in strict coordination with Leonardo Belgium Logistics Hub, supporting the growing fleet of Leonardo commercial and public service helicopters in France and Central Europe. It embraces a covered area of more than 2,000 m2 (21,530 ft.2), including maintenance and repair hangar and offices.
CAE, TAG Extend Biz Jet Pilot Training Agreement
CAE has signed a three-year extension to its pilot training agreement with TAG Aviation, a leading supplier in the business aviation sector, on 12 types of business jet. "CAE's training gives our pilots the knowledge and confidence to deliver the peace of mind our customers have come to expect when flying with us," said Andrew Kilvington, Head of Training and Standards, TAG Aviation – Europe. “The quality of its training and its global network of training centers have made CAE a trusted partner since 2010.”
