Southwest Airlines could exercise up to 44 options for Boeing 737 MAX jets in 2022 to either fuel growth or accelerate retirements of older 737-700s. The airline ended the 2021 second quarter (Q2) with 736 737s that included 68 737-8s after it took delivery of seven aircraft during the June quarter...
