The national average retail price for a gallon of Jet-A rose 50 cents in May from the previous month to $8.04, according to data from the Aviation Research Group. It is the fourth consecutive month of a price increase recorded in all eight FAA regions. The largest monthly May price increase was in the New England region with a $1.14 increase compared to April, while the smallest increase was in the Western Pacific region, up 29 cents from April. Average Jet-A prices rose $2.72 a gallon compared to May 2021. Data is from a survey of more than 200 fixed base operators across the U.S. They include all taxes and fees.
