From The Archives: Dassault-Breguet Falcon 50

This image of the Dassault-Breguet Falcon 50 was given the premium position on the cover of the Apr. 25, 1977 issue of Aviation Week & Space Technology.

This was a prototype of the long-range business jet flying over southeastern France during a test flight from the test flight center in Istres. It was powered by 3,700-lb.- thrust Garrett TGE731-3 turbofans with a range of about 3,600 stat. mi.
