Poll: Is The Increased Awareness On Sustainability Positive Or Negative For BizAv?

This year’s Singapore Airshow was fully solar powered, underscoring its major theme of innovation and environmental sustainability in the aviation industry. 

When not generating energy for the showground, the 6.3-MWp solar panel array installed on the roof of the main exhibition building by show organizers Experia Events will contribute about 2% of Singapore’s yearly solar power.

With Clay Lacy Aviation partnering with World Kinect Energy Services, a subsidiary of World Fuel Services, to develop a sustainability program to lower the company’s carbon footprint as a large business aviation operator, it is clear that sustainability is high on the industry's agenda.
