Aviation Week’s 2023 Commercial Fleet and MRO Forecast predicts that Latin America will see 41% of demand for C checks in 2023, a total of 641 C checks. Meanwhile, the Middle East and Africa account for 453 and 380 C checks, respectively. 

Aviation Week’s data shows that the Middle East will have more demand for engine overhauls than Latin America and Africa. It is forecasted that the Middle East will see demand for 578 engine overhaul shop visits, while Latin America and Africa will have 521 and 369 engine overhaul shop visits, respectively. 

Meanwhile, the data also shows that Latin America will see higher demand for D checks and engine life-limited parts (LLP) events than the Middle East and Africa.
