ORLANDO—Signature Aviation on Oct. 19 announced it will now offer Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) at all 10 of the company’s fixed-base operations in California.

This is an expansion of a partnership forged in September 2020, which resulted in Signature first pumping Neste blended SAF fuel at San Francisco International Airport and at London Luton Airport a few months later in December. The contract now extends through 2023.

The 30/70 fuel blend accounts for a 25% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. Signature says agreements with Neste will deliver 29 million gal., which will reduce more than 62,000 metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions.

Neste supplies the majority of SAF Signature’s network and uses SAF produced with hydroprocessed esters and fatty acids (HEFA) technology, says Beatrice Batty, Signature’s fuel operations director.

Outside of California, Signature’s other SAF suppliers are World Energy and BP, says Batty.
