Global Eye on Track for UAE Handover

With all company-imposed test-points achieved, Saab is moving confidently toward the customer acceptance testing phase by the United Arab Emirates of the three Global Eye airborne early warning aircraft on current order. The Swedish firm is looking forward to making that five and is also setting out its stall for a pitch to South Korea, whose AEW II requirement calls for two not-necessarily-identical aircraft to augment its four Boeing 737 AEW&Cs.
