Sheltair Aviation plans to build, lease and manage a new 20-acre hangar complex at the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport with fixed-base operator services operated by Banyan Air Service. The 180,000-sq.-ft. hangar complex will include hangars with room for eight large-cabin aircraft and another 30,000 sq. ft. of office and ship space. It will also be home to Banyan’s Northside FBO terminal. Construction of the $30 million complex is underway; completion is expected in early 2019.
