The price of a gallon of Jet-A rose 32 cents in the U.S. in August when compared to July with an average of $6.95 per gallon, according to a survey by the Aviation Research Group. When compared to a year ago, prices are down 66 cents per gallon. All eight FAA regions saw a price increase in August compared to July. The largest increase was in the Eastern region, up 45 cents from July. The smallest increase was in the Western Pacific region, up 15 cents from a month ago.
