Intelligent, Global, Growing: Pratt & Whitney Aftermarket Solutions

Buying an engine is a decades-long commitment. Pratt & Whitney EngineWise® solutions bring together our growing global footprint, a portfolio of flexible services, and our commitment to sharing technical expertise, fleet data and business intelligence with our customers – to enhance fleet outcomes and enable more informed decisions across the engine life cycle.

With a global network of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facilities, we’re focused on meeting increasing aftermarket demand. We’re expanding GTF MRO capacity around the world — both in our shops and across a network of industry leaders. With 16 active locations worldwide and another three expected online by 2025, we’re sharing best practices, optimizing workscopes and driving innovation throughout the network — with automation, digital tools and advanced inspections and repairs.

The MRO network is backed by more than 100 field representatives in 60 offices across six continents, and our Line Maintenance Services (LMS) team, which offers technical support and issue mitigation worldwide. In addition, we offer regional, local and virtual training options through three customer training centers in the U.S., India and China.

Our portfolio of services and solutions offers customers flexibility to choose what’s right for their unique operational and financial needs. Options include long-term fleet management programs, transactional engine overhaul and part repair, life-limited part (LLP) solutions, new and used serviceable material programs, engine swaps, an engine lease pool, and predictive analytics.

EngineWise® Intelligence offers a range of engine health management services from compiled engine data to expert analysis of operational data. State-of-the-art data analytics help predict and prevent operational disruption. Our ADEM™ (advanced diagnostics and engine monitoring) system provides analysis for more than 10,000 engines, which customers can interact with through a suite of digital tools in our EngineWise® Connect customer portal.

We are committed to inserting technologies across our facilities to further advance automation and sustainability. Our MRO sites implemented water consumption projects, leveraged solar fields and reduced industrial waste among other initiatives. In 2023, our Arkansas facility achieved 100% of its energy provided through renewable sources.

Pratt & Whitney’s technology insertion is a multi-year plan to enhance operational efficiency and productivity. Last month, we announced full operations of our Singapore Technology Accelerator focused on driving automation, advanced inspection, connected factory and digital twin technologies into and across Pratt & Whitney’s global MRO footprint. We leveraged Digital Twins technology to envision and optimize the layout for the new Eagles Services Asia expansion site, enabling multiple simulations, allowing planners to spot potential bottlenecks and other challenges to ensure optimized capacity and manpower prior to the build-out of the facility.

With an expanding global footprint, growing portfolio of services and a focus on driving innovation and new technologies into our facilities, we’re redefining what’s possible to support our customers.
