MRO Americas 2024: What To Watch Out For On Day One

There will be something for everyone in the MRO industry at MRO Americas, this year, held in Chicago from Tuesday April 9th to Thursday 11th.

All attendees can benefit from free content sessions at the event, which will include product demos and short talks on industry issues  with a full two-day schedule at the Go Live! Theater, on the show floor.

Additionally there are paid-for in depth sessions that will be a mix of presentations and panel discussions on the industry’s hottest topics. They drill down into critical issues facing the industry and will enable stakeholders and thought-leaders to come together to discuss concerns, find solutions and identify opportunities.

2024 Nuts And Bolts Award

In the morning Airlines for America (A4A) EMMC leadership presents the 2024 Nuts and Bolts Award, recognizing exceptional service and contribution in the engineering or maintenance fields of the commercial aviation industry. Followed by the presentation of Aviation Week's 2024 MRO Lifetime Achievement Award.

Future Of The Industry

Followed by a keynote to address the joint MRO Americas and Military Aviation Logistics and Maintenance Symposium (MALMS) audiences, by President and CEO of AAR Corp., John Holmes, who will share his thoughts on where the future of the industry is headed and his vision for a collective industry mindset.

Fireside Chat

Then, Aviation Week Network’s Editorial Director, Joe Anselmo, hosts an informal Fireside Chat and interactive Q&A with the MRO Americas audience. 

Data Focus

Just before lunch Aviation Week fleet and forecast experts share data and analysis on the current outlook for MRO demand in the Americas and around the globe. 

Artificial Intelligence

After lunch we'll be discussing the game-changing impact of AI and machine learning on MRO projects. One company,  EMX Vision, will discuss how it integrates AI into planning and execution. Its product EMX Vision, accelerates project completion and efficiency in aircraft maintenance. 

M&A Landscape

This session is swiftly followed by an indepth discussion on interactive discussion of the current MRO M&A landscape, and how the transaction process has evolved over the past decade.
