Video: Taking A Look Inside Air Show Pilots' Briefing At Oshkosh

The preflight briefing at AirVenture leaves nothing to chance. Every need of the pilots who perform is taken into account.

During the briefing Air Boss Wayne Boggs and others go over the layout of the air box that pilots must stay in while performing their routine as well as communications, procedures for comms failures and emergencies, divert field information and human factors.

They even bring in a doctor to advise pilots on aeromedical issues. His advise during the hot, sticky weather: stay hydrated and have a well-balanced, nourishing meal before flying to maintain energy and alertness during flight performances that can involve high g-loads.
